The bust area is often a very neglected part of the body when it comes to body care. Many people think that because they can't see their chest, it doesn't need any extra TLC or even basic cleansing. But that's just not true—Your bust deserves love and attention too!

Most people have heard of 'body detox'. When detox is mentioned, it is natural to think of body detox that usually targets the digestive system, liver, and kidney. But did you know that you also need to detox your bust on a regular basis? Bust detox is not heard as much although it is just as important. Fatty tissues are present in all busts, which is where toxins can accumulate. Detoxing your bust is an important part of your bust care and should be implemented in your beauty routine on a regular basis. So, why exactly should you care about detoxing your bust, and how do you go about it?

Bust detox massage is an effective way to remove toxins from the bust, and they can help give you a perkier-looking bustline too!

  • Improves blood circulation

  • Clears blockages in the breast region and lymph nodes

  • Reduces breast tenderness, breast hyperplasia (overgrowth of cells in the breast ducts and lobes) and nodules (abnormal tissue growth)

  • Improves breasts' shape, firmness and alignment

Lymphatic bust massage is a gentle form of massage to improve the flow of lymph fluid. By promoting natural lymphatic drainage and improving blood circulation, it helps in stimulating collagen production at mammary glands, lobes and connecting tissues—all of which can help add fullness to smaller busts or enhance shrunken ones caused by lifestyle factors such as ageing or diet. Detoxing also prevents clogged ducts by removing harmful bacteria which can build up inside them.

How often should you detox your bust?

We recommend having a professional therapist or qualified person do this for you if you are unsure of where and how to do this massage. This should be done regularly on a weekly or biweekly basis as you may not see results immediately. Though, different people have different bodies. For example, some ladies, particularly those who have breastfed, will have more clogs than ladies who haven't and so would require more frequent bust detoxing sessions. It's best to speak with a professional to assess your bust needs.

During the massage, you may experience some mild discomfort when your therapist exerts on clogged lymphatic nodes. However, this will subside as you get used to it. Throughout this process, the therapist will check to make sure you're comfortable. If it hurts too much for you to handle, let her know right away so she can alter what she is doing and make sure that everything works with your comfort level in mind.

Keep in mind

A bust detox massage is only one tool in your bust care arsenal, and while it may help you achieve a healthier-looking bustline, there are other steps you can take to make sure your overall lymphatic system stays healthy. For example, drinking plenty of water throughout the day. Water flushes out toxins and keeps them from building up in your system. Always make sure to drink enough so that you feel hydrated—not just when you're thirsty! Exercise, too, can help as moving around helps your lymphatic system work more efficiently and promotes circulation. All in all, if you show love to your body, your body will show love back.
